I am certainly no working class snob or too naive not to appreciate that having money provides young people with so much more opportunity in life, perhaps most relevant is their education in the independent school system. This system has provided the force's "Officer Class" throughout history and also the 'Leader's' in the business world. What is an irrefutable fact, however, and by mathematical definition, the vast majority of intellectual and leadership raw talent lies in the far larger pool of youth that exists outside the Independent school sector. Sadly though, this potentially great and significant human resource will never attain comparative success and such standing in life as their Independently schooled counterparts, as the opportunities to do so will not be awarded them. A fool who attends a Independent School will simply become a highly educated idiot, but will probably go on to be a company Director or Senior Officer. A talented state schooled youngster, unable to afford university, will probably go to manage a Burger outlet or Warehouse. Britain's got Talent ....just not a system to fully realise and benefit from it.

In under 10 minutes, Sir John Scarlett achieves what all politicians and soap box speakers with a tendency towards narcissism and grandiosity, can't or wont grasp: That we can only be responsible for own behaviour and that by decency and moderation in our own actions we can influence, positively, by example. Measured. Thoughtful. Even almost self effacing. Of course Sir John IS the consummate "influencer". And has been a good nay outstanding 'friend' to The United Kingdom. JF

And I'm in my early twenties actually my late twenties now but in my early twenties I realized that the government Maps our brains and everything that we watch on the internet with emails and social media is monitored so what we do is try to manipulate the government or whoever refill has wronged us at the time or let's say the spies that the government blames whoever these people are we feel have done the things that they have done we just instead will change what it is that they see if we want to put them into a cycle of believing and mapping out our brains and monitoring our information unjustly we will make sure that they are put into a situation of no truth and we will never use social media or the internet when exposing what we really feel or trading any sort of Secrets I would imagine but I'm not a spy so who knows

The former spy chief who provided Tony Blair with ‘evidence’ justifying the invasion of Iraq in 2003 is now raking in vast sums of money, working for accountancy firms, stock brokers, oil companies and investment banks. Since leaving the civil service, Scarlett has worked for a string of multinational corporations, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and BP, earning hundreds of thousands of pounds. Blair promoted Scarlett to the head of MI6 in 2004, a year after the invasion of Iraq, in a move many saw as a reward for his assistance in justifying the Iraq War. The spymaster left MI6 in 2009 to work in the private sector, taking a role on the advisory board of PwC in 2010 and as a paid adviser to global insurance company Swiss Re. In the same year, Scarlett also took a job with investment bank Morgan Stanley and risk management firm Chertoff Group, founded by former US Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff. Within a year of leaving MI6 Scarlett also took a position on the board of Times Newspapers and an advisory position for the Norwegian multinational oil company, Statoil. In January 2015 Scarlett joined the board of BP as a non-executive director. The UK government’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba), which monitors the ‘revolving door’ between government and the private sector, approved all of Scarlett’s job applications!
